Earnest Sewn was created by former Paper Denim & Co. designer, Scott Morrison, with the vision of combining traditional American denim with the ancient Japanese aesthetic Wabi-Sabi. Wabi-Sabi is the beauty of all things imperfect, impermanent and incomplete. This is a credo that is demonstrated by every aspect of the Earnest Sewn company. With an acute attention to each individual jean, Earnest Sewn use hand applications and numerous other fine finishing techniques to produce the subtle imperfections that set these jeans apart.
